Good Day Always

Nothing can beat the good feeling you get when you get up early. It feels so good when you open up your eyes and know that you are granted by Allah and have another day to live.Alhamdullilah....
I always send the kids to school, another blessing for me.None of my kids get to ride a bus nor a van.Same thing when they go home..If something is up, the wife will take my place.
When I was younger it didn't occur to me that I have been blessed with things that seemed small but was actually a very big influence in our daily family life. Now I see parents rushing to send their kids, some kids have to go by school bus or van.
It is during this time that you see some parents who are so kiasu when it comes to dealing with their daily chores. While we que ,some just jump thru it.You see evil in their driving when they drive thru red lights, so that they will not be late.Horns are blared because the car in front is not moving when the light is already green.Again horns are blared because you stop for cars to get out of junctions. Some just do U turns just to save that few seconds.
Never have I encountered these fools to be confronted by those law abiding drivers.Who said malaysia don't have civilised drivers.
Its just that these rascals are the ones that stand out from the crowd.Typical malaysian scenario.
The bad gets the limelight.

Oh Glorious Food

I"m sorry to write this, but I have this habit whenever I am invited to a Doa selamat, Tahlil or the likes.I don't eat anything before going. So I will get hungry while the ceremony is going on, and can't wait for it to end. This happened earlier today again. So from now on , I will make sure that I have something to eat before any ceremony.I supposed its because I don't want to waste the food that will be served after the Tahlil. But that is bad, some might say..going there for the food.I agree. But food taste better when you are hungry.Well, see if it taste better when I'm not that hungry the next time around.Fingers crossed.

SEK TAMBATAN JB ALUMNI 1967-1972

The event was made possible by donations and effort from individuals of our former school. Two contributed the funds ( one for the t-shirts and the other for the rest ).They don't want to be mentioned. As for the organising commitee,we did what we could in the short period of time that we had.
Managed to get 7 of our teachers, and 6 of them turned up.There were about 40 of us for that day.It was a warm and noisy gathering, some we had not met for over 35 years.
Thank you to all concerned for making this gathering a reality.
Everybody was asked to make a little introduction on stage but I didn't.Just sat there looking at all the faces of these people that I hope I will meet again soon. All 49 years of memories came reeling in, and what an experience it was. Times of my primary school days came back in my mind so vividly,so real and beautiful. How I was dressed, played, studied and the naughty things we did back then.
The teachers, these were the few people who taught us from zero.We didn't have kindergarden
then, so from the bottom of my heart Thank you teachers.I know it was not easy but then you all taught us without any hesitation, gave us all you could.
Thank you.
